Patricia Hladschik is co-director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights and Director of polis – the Austrian Centre for Citizenship Education in Schools in Vienna, Austria. She is board member of the Austrian League for Human Rights and the WUK (one of Europe’s largest socio-cultural centers and Viennese sister of La Friche). She has been working as translator of francophone north african literature (e.g. Rachid Boudjedra, Mahi Binebine). Since 2018 she is Austrian expert for the Council of Europe’s European Policy Advisers Network (EPAN).
