Grace Maingi is a human rights lawyer and advocate of the High Court of Kenya, with over eighteen years’ experience in governance and democracy work. Grace Maingi has a Master’s Degree in Law with a specialisation in Human Rights from the University of London, United Kingdom (UK) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Leicester, UK. Grace Maingi has worked at the national, regional and international level through key non-governmental organisations in Kenya. Her experience includes societal transformation work through public participation and civic education, human rights, access to justice, public interest litigation, women’s rights and transitional justice issues. Grace Maingi currently works at Uraia Trust as the Executive Director where she focuses on work around constitutionalism and civil society strengthening.
