NECE FOCUS GROUP: Competences for Democratic Culture (RFCDC)
A workshop organised by
Claudia Lenz, The Norwegian School of Theology, Oslo
Patricia Hladschik, Austrian Centre for Citizenship Education in Schools, Vienna
This is the kick off of a NECE focus group dealing with the new “Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture”, launched by the Council of Europe in April 2018.
The focus group will bring together educators and multipliers from diverse educational contexts interested in exploring the uses of the RFCDC in their specific institutional, local or national contexts.
We want to invite you to a taster workshop including the following elements:
- presentation of the RFCDC and its core elements
- possible applications of the RFCDC in the planning and evaluation of learning processes, as well as in the formative evaluation of students
- possible applications of the RFCDC in democratic school development
- presentation of the modalities of the RFCDC focus group
