WORKSHOP: The EU at the Crossroads – Facing the EU Elections 2019
A workshop organised and facilitated by
Judith Fiebelkorn, euro|topics
The rise of nationalist parties, the row over migration policy, the simmering debt crisis and the approaching Brexit show that the EU urgently needs a concept for the future that focuses on the democratisation of European institutions. Nina Henkelmann (France) and Sugárka Sielaff (Hungary) – both correspondents of the euro|topics network, and Alexandrina Najmowicz of the European Civic Forum as well as the jounalist and researcher Marianna Karakoulaki discuss how best to intervene in the European elections and what should be the key elements of European reform.
